Carrying the Mission Forward
Fourteen years ago, who could have imagined what would happen when women said yes to a simple invitation: to read great and worthy books together and to seek what is good, true, and Beautiful.
Yet women across the country did say yes—friends inviting friends, mothers inviting daughters—to read, gather, and share life. And from your “yes,” something beautiful began to grow and continues to bear fruit.
Without your generosity, this quiet cultural renewal simply would not be happening.
In fact, over the last eight years, Well- Read Mom has experienced an average annual growth rate of 40%. This year, more than 13,000 women in the United States and fifteen other countries read Together.
As we look toward the future, our dream is for Well-Read Mom to be present in every town and community, available to any woman. This dream is not about growth for the sake of growth. It is about realizing personal renewal and the quiet ripple effect that leads to renewal in our homes, communities, and culture. It is about reaching the woman who longs for connection and Belonging.
At the same time, Well-Read Mom remains deeply committed to something essential—ensuring that cost is never a barrier. We deeply respect the many responsibilities and financial pressures women carry. Scholarships are available to any woman who needs one, and membership has remained affordable, even as costs rise.
Your financial support, both through and beyond membership, allows Well- Read Mom to grow thoughtfully—to build the leadership, training, and support systems needed to serve more women while preserving the small, intimate group experience that makes this work so meaningful.
My financial situation is tight. I often
borrow my books from the library to help
stretch my budget.
I am also more on the
quiet side, but I deeply value belonging
to my group. If membership rates were to
increase, I would likely have to drop out.
Even knowing that assistance is available,
I would struggle with the embarrassment
of not being able to afford it.
Being able to
continue without that worry is such a gift.
In a world where there is so much tension
—even within families—it is a blessing to have
a place to go each month where love is
shared, and friendships grow.
Thank you for
making it possible for women like me to stay.
